Project Partners in Action

ADC Tanzania has been collaborating with like-minded development partners such as the government, USADF, ACELI AFRICA, AGF and private sector to support and implement various initiatives and programs targeting MSMEs and small holder farmers in agribusiness value chains and other economic sectors.

United States African Development Foundation (USADF)

Collaborating with ADC to implement programs that promote the development of smallholder agricultural producer groups.

ACELI Africa

Collaborating with ADC to deliver business development services (BDS) to SME’s engaged in agricultural value chains.

African Guarantee Fund (AGF)

ADC has partnered with AGF under the AFAWA program to support women-led SMEs by providing capacity-building services and access to finance.

Aceli Africa

As partners, ADC plays a crucial role in facilitating consultations and offering business development services aimed at enhancing the services offered by Aceli Africa to SMEs. This effort contributes to the advancement of several Sustainable Development Goals, including the promotion of livelihoods for farmers and workers, fostering climate-smart and resilient agriculture, promoting gender inclusion, and ensuring food security and nutrition in Africa.

  • Conducting Fully funded diagnostic to determine core business needs, Based on diagnostic, the service provider and SME agree on a scope of work and budget for a 3–6-month engagement
  • Business contributes 20-30% to the budget and Aceli contributes maximum of US $15,000 to the budget

  • Annual revenue of US $400,000 to US $5,000,000
  • 15+ full-time employees
  • Been in operation for at least 3 years
  • Primary motivation: sustain growth/ attract investment

JIFUNZE UTOKE is a program funded by the Africa Guarantee Fund through AFAWA, in partnership with Equity Bank Tanzania and ADC Tanzania. It aims to empower women-owned businesses (WSMEs) with training in areas like management, marketing, bookkeeping, and tax compliance. Graduates may receive tailored support to access loans from Equity Bank.
